Ben will be receiving semikha, rabbinic ordination, in June '09 from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School in Manhattan. Prior to beginning the four year rabbinic program at YCT, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Lander College for Men in Queens, New York. Ben hails from San Diego, California and currently lives in Upper Manhattan with his wife, Sharon Weiss-Greenberg.


Ben is the founding Rabbi and Director of The Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (JLIC) at Harvard University and the Orthodox Rabbinic Advisor at Harvard Hillel. In the past he has been the rabbinic intern at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale and the Hallel v'Zimrah Minyan at The Jewish Center of Teaneck. He has held fellowships at The Center for Learning and Leadership, The Jewish Council on Urban Affairs and The Healthcare Chaplaincy. Ben has served in rabbinic roles at The West Side Jewish Center and The Hampton Synagogue and has worked at the Religious Zionists of America as well as Congregation Shaar Hashomayim in Westmount, Quebec.
